PRIVACY

Privacy policy.

This policy explains what CleanCode ("we") collects when you visit cleancode.id and how it is used. It is written to be read, not scrolled past.

What we collect

When you email us or start a project, we keep your name, email address, and whatever you send us so we can reply and, if we end up working together, run the engagement. Our server records standard access logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and debugging. Logs are rotated and are not used to profile visitors.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, to remember whether you read in English or Indonesian. Nothing else: our analytics do not use cookies.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, roughly where from (country, not city), what kind of device, and how fast the page loaded. It sets no cookies, keeps nothing in your browser, and does not fingerprint you by IP address or browser. It cannot tell us who you are. We look at it to learn which pages are useful, not to profile visitors. Visitors in the EU are not measured at all.

Third parties

Fonts are self-hosted, so no requests go to Google Fonts. Cloudflare sits in front of the site and provides the analytics described above. Case study pages may link to client and partner websites; their policies apply there. We do not sell or share your data with anyone, except the email and hosting providers we need to operate the site.

Retention and your rights

We keep project correspondence for as long as the engagement and its records require. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly expand what we collect.
